Which is it, Mr. LaHood? You can't have it both ways.
On December 11, 2020, Representative LaHood joined 125 other Republicans and signed an amicus brief alleging “unconstitutional irregularities” in the 2020 election. Collectively, they asked the U.S. Supreme Court to allow Texas to proceed with a suit for invalidation of the Presidential election results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. SCOTUS summarily rejected their request. (1)
In short – Representative LaHood actively tried to undermine the 2020 election results.
On January 6th, 2021 – yes, that January 6th -- Mr. LaHood instead voted to certify the election of Joe Biden as President. (2)
To echo and rework an infamous John Kerry quote – Representative LaHood was against the election until he was for it. (3)
So which is it, Mr. LaHood? You can’t have it both ways.
